I live in Southern California and have experienced a 6.8 earthquake nearly under my house. We put the vintage view product into a new wine cellar in a home we totally renovated. Looks fantastic on an entire wall. However, we new we needed something to secure the bottles, just in case. Well, these retention straps are just perfect. They are very strong and secure. We've chosen to just use one strap on each bottle as each strap really holds the bottle securely. I've put the short strap around the neck of one row and then the longer strap around the body of the next row. Each row has 12 bottles. This should hold in the next quake....unless it's THE BIG ONE! THEN WHO CARES!CHEERS!
