I was looking for quality plastic wine glasses to use at home on a daily basis. These are large and the plastic is thinner so it feels more like a real glass wine glass. I was tired of hand washing my good wine glasses and worrying about having them chip or break. These solve the problem. Directions say they can be washed in the dishwasher on the top rack. Just got them so have been hand washing since they look so nice and scratch free. There is a slight seam but you have to really look closely to see it. No writing showing through on the base.
